    Ok Response They wrote today basically saying they’re sorry for not responding, they’ve been really busy, they’re not sure if they’ll come back to our school, and they imagine it’ll be a while before they’re able to see me in person again Which fair’s fair Moving is hard ’Tis what I was expecting and what I’d say if I were them I wrote back to be like “no worries, I know you’ve got a lot on your plate right now. How long do you expect ‘a while’ might be?” We then proceeded to have a very long and lovely conversation in which my question was very deliberately never mentioned once So We’ll see

I hand wrote this thing My hands are jacked, we’re scheduling surgery this summer Do you have any idea how much effort and how much time it took to write this thing by hand for each draft? Not once Not twice Not thrice Not four times Nor five But six total times I am not doing this over text I put my storming heart into doing this in person with a letter ok

    That sounds… horrifying The idea is just to do like a regular hang out and then keep the letter on me and give it to them at the end And be like “hey, this is for when things die down a bit and you’re settled” That way they have time to process without being stuck there having to give an immediate answer And that way I get to skidaddle and escape all immediate consequences like the coward I am lol Man we’ve gotta plan a jail break for you

    Sort of The final day of break is Monday but that’s the day they’re moving from the temporary Airbnb into the new permanent house Saturday I have an event that they could come to, I’d love to have them, but I doubt they’d want to go So effectively it’s kinda only Sunday Yeahh Uh Idk what to say

    Howdy folks I seek thy wisdom So the situation with the person I’ve been telling y’all about is the same Currently moving Currently on break Currently unsure what’s going to happen in the future We were texting back and forth Tuesday And then Wednesday I was like “hey, I know things are busy right now, do you think you might be free to hang out this week or would it work better to go out another week?” No reply Complete radio silence And break ends soon, the last day is Monday So I’m at a bit of a loss for what to do In their defense, staying in between houses at an Airbnb, having people constantly in and out of the house, taking driving lessons, and having to study for said lessons all simultaneously is about as good a reason for not responding as you can get But at the same time We were texting normally And they had time to go shopping for clothes And plan an outing with a friend So like Bwa And I’d just wait to see them in person But uuuhhhhhhh I don’t even know if we attend the same school anymore The children yearn to double text

    Thanks : D I’ve been trying my hand at horror recently Thank ye kindly Yeah I’m alright I was inspired by scrolling through Instagram reels and finding a clip from a comedy zombie movie where a bunch of boy scouts fend off a zombie by singing Britney Spears at it And it responding to them like there was still a Britney Spears fan in there I feel like in zombie media they’re usually just puppets basically They’re monsters but they’re completely dead, it’s just a walking shell So it might freak you out to take one out but you’re good And I really liked the idea that they’re not dead That there’s someone still alive and aware and the same person in there At least to some extent And then I thought I could really explore the emotional implications of that And so I did But yeah basically the thought process was ”This comedy scene, make it emotionally devastating, yes.” Leans out of frame
