I have always loved Tolkien's work, even if I must admit that it took me several tries to get through the books because I first tried to read them at age 10 and bounced off of it like oil and water. But, after reading LotR, the Hobbit and the Silmarillion, I have learned to appreciate all of the things that Tolkien has written.

Waitwaitwait, Jasnah and Kaladin? That's a thing??? They hardly even interacted, why would it ever be a thing? In any case, I think Kaladin should be happily single because he didn't get with Adolin. There's something to say about Leshwi and Kaladin, it's definitely a cool idea to think about more Fused/Human romance, and the Fused/Herald dynamic is definitely some Romeo and Juliet type situation, but I don't see it as something that will ever happen, honestly. Their dynamic was mostly honorable, with clear signs of respect from either of them, without any indicator that it could/will ever be more than that.

I’ve been thinking, what would some cosmere characters’ version of “RIP [character] you would have loved [thing]” be? For example: “RIP Sazed, you would have loved Wikipedia” or “RIP Kelsier, you would have loved Twitter drama” (I’m sure there’s funnier options) Any funny options y’all can think of?

I’ve read Stormlight + WaT + Edgedancer, Mistborn Era 1 and Secret History. I’m starting on MB era 2 and I’m keeping the secret projects til’ the end! Thank you, main Taln appreciator! Is it cheap to say Starspren and Gloryspren? They had the best scenes in the books (the Oathbringer sanderlanche for Gloryspren and the Starspren scene in Shadesmar.) The best sort of Radiant spren are probably Cryptids, purely because of Design and Pattern. According to the test, Elsecallers. To my heart? Skybreaker. Nale is great.
