  1. Retlen shook his head. It was nothing. ——— You should be safe, now.
  2. The Andharik energy, much more potent than the woman’s (though formidable), launches away the terrifying sight. She takes a wound, and she seems to be significantly slower. She still does not acknowledge the wounds.
  3. The musket he held was of a smaller build, and could be held in a single hand, albeit slightly awkward. Please. Focus on avoiding confrontation.
  4. She turned to Erif. “You think you can teleport us there? Don’t know if your teleportation follows the same rules that stop us from entering Onyx domain, especially if it stems from him.”
  5. Spirit stared at Haly. Had she not seen the dagger he threw at Glass? He looked back to Storm. “How will we get to Montana.” It was a question, but said as a statement.
  6. “Mine is Dint, so no judging here.” He covered his mouth as he realized that he had revealed it to Yes.
  7. Dint nodded. He looked away, looking to Yes. It had been a while since he had that carelessness. Yes, he had joked… but there was always the shadow of the dragons. Even after he had slain more than he could count, there were always more. @Through The Living Glass “Yes! Guess what my name is… It iiiiissss a word.”
  8. “You don’t understand. The dragons had been slaughtering us for so long, and we didn’t even have basic rifles. No one did. And then the breakthrough was made. Before long, PPUNG and HNTAD had completely industrialized. And we were left in the dust. So when PPUNG offered us weapons, we had to accept. We would die, otherwise. They seemed so honorable.”
  9. Dint stared at Silly. “Why, you are!”
  10. A voice appeared in his mind, waking him up. Get up. They will find you soon. He was strangely strengthened. Incredibly so.
  11. Spirit brought a small dagger out of his sleeve, flicking it towards her. It missed by a hair. “Never again.”
  12. “This was different. We had been dependent on them for a while now. It got to the point where we never even questioned whether or not we should have our own scientists. Many of my became fanatics, viewing them as the ideal, as opposed to HNTAD, the Hundred Nations Treaty of Armed Defense. They were hated. We never even objected as the Pungies “graciously” took the dragon’s dead bodies off our hands.” Dint looked down, sad. They had hated taking their help, after that. But they had to.
  13. “We share the same body, unfortunately. But by no means are we the same person! I have no common qualities with that peasant. If you can call what he has quality.”
  14. “I understand that. But do you have hints? Tips?” Ista said. She didn’t hope for this, she just wanted to test him.
  15. Spirit stared at Glass. “I have always been. This is Spirit, by the way. Not Wrath.”
  16. Dint jumped. The man could read his mind! “Pact for the Peace of the United Nations of Gorin. My friend once lectured me quite thoroughly for becoming dependent on their gifts.”
  17. The woman tilted her head. She could not sense Rust. For that matter, she could not sense any of them but Adtae. She heard them, though. She held out a fist, and Adtae was launched backwards. Adtae growled. This was not not good. He held out his hand, and her shadow was stripped from her, appearing as a long sharp spear. He threw it at the woman, who wouldn’t be able to sense it. The woman took it through the heart, but otherwise ignored it. Nevertheless, a dark, weightless mist started to leak from the wound. It ran to Adtae, and it seeped under and into his mask, entering his body through his eyes.
  18. Dint looked curiously at the bacon. And the Bacon. He reminded him of PPUNG. That… wasn’t good.
