Kelsier describes Ruin as having spines/spiders under his skin, but I don't understand why. Ruin isn't coming apart like Preservation is, and we don't know any other Shards who are described like this. Is it just to make Ruin creepier without any explanations?

Hmmm… that’s a tough one. Design wise I love Mistspren. Maybe it’s Syl. Syl is my favorite type of Spren. Oh, least favorite character is hard. I want to say Sadeas but he was so fun to hate that I think his presence makes the book better. Amaram maybe Forgot about the bagels. It’s been way too long since I’ve had one
