    "'ight. Hang on then. This might get a li'l uncomfortable." Cep puts a finger on Taeidin's forehead. To anyone watching, they seem to fold out of existence. They find themselves in a blank white void, with overlapping voices murmuring unintelligibly in the background. "Yeh should be fine in 'ere. Ah can only keep yeh here fer about ten minutes, though. What should ah do?"

    Martial arts is a great equivalent. Or if you don't have time/can't/don't want to, hitting soft things that won't hurt you is also great.

    Cep stares. "Yeh jus- yeh jus' told me tha' was poisonous..." He eats the mushroom Taeidin gave him. "Oh. Tha's not too bad. Matter o' fact, yeh got any more o' those on yeh?"

    "Really?" Cep zips off for a second and comes back with a mushroom. "So...ah jus' put this in mah drink?" Autocorrect hates my character, I have to manually change everything like three times

    “Yup, Cep’s tha name. An’ yer Kiri? An’ ta answer that voice’s question, ah don’ really believe there’s much o’ anythin’ in it. Jus’ tastes good. And calms.” Cep takes a drink of his own, and a few gray hairs at the side of his head visibly disappear.

    *hugshugshugs* We’re all…Shards. It’s almost like they knew who they’d attract with this website. I just wanna add that, in all reality, broken people are often more interesting and complex people (not always—not saying anything against nonbroken people. But often). And, more importantly, the breaking is part of who we are. And we’re all here to help keep everyone together as much as we can!
