Ya I noticed that too, did you also notice that Jasnah was surprised that Shallan could see (or at least draw) the "Soulspren" (for lack of a better term), she seemed to imply that this meant Shallan was not the same type of Soulcaster as she. That would also lead us to believe the King would be of that other type of Soulcaster.

If the Radiants are good and the Shardblades are evil, why would the knights give up their blades and plate in front of people. Wouldn't they drop them in cave or hide them so no one could be influenced by them ?
