  1. He spoke softly, still staring at her. “I tried to comfort her. She didn’t want that, and stormed off. I… I should’ve followed her, known it was dangerous! She could’ve died as I tended the fire!” He fell to his knees, sobbing, putting his head in his hands.
  2. Oh no thanks Cricket brought more water and stood on the other side of Tam, staring at her, anxiously.
  3. He went into the other room, and found a bigger bucket, and brought it over, along with another with the first kettle. He began heating another bucket of snow.
  4. He checked it. “Hot enough.” he said, taking off the kettle.
  5. He nodded, removing them. “How’s she doing?”
  6. He did this, then walked outside, returning quickly with a bucket of snow that he melted over the fire. They did just kill my best servant, who was highly competent and an extremely powerful Enuller, with some enhancements.
  7. “Of course.” he said, wiping it off her, and starting a fire in a small fireplace. they’re in a small, two room medieval hut btw Here. he sent a mental image of Cricket to him. Tam will be with him. I was actually just doing research cuz I was curious
  8. Cricket hovered around them nervously. “Can you save her?” he asked, worried.
  9. I don’t know. When I do, I’ll tell you and you’ll kill them. His face was pale. “Just come. You’ll see.” he said, grabbing Bat in one hand, teleporting them to the hideout, not realizing Gaioh was an eel. “Help!” he screamed.
  10. Cricket gasped, digging her out. “Tam? Tam!” he said, picking her up, cradling her gently. “Got to get you somewhere safe.” He teleported them to one of his old hideouts, from when he had been on the run, and set her down softly, before setting out blankets, putting her there. Bat! Bat! he screamed. I need you! He teleported to his location. @Halcyon The Only
  11. A voice spoke back. Kill Cricket Chaisler. And the girl, Tam Lennox, as well anyone who gets in your way.
  12. Cricket gasped, running forward, and digging the lump out of the snow.
  13. Cricket continued rushing down the path, fueled with adrenaline.
  14. Oh duh BYEEEEE NEIL He cursed, scared and sprinted forward, teleporting several feet every other step.
  15. THE NEIL SAGA CONTINUES MAYBE IF YOU SHOUT AT HIM HE BE QUIET Cricket gasped, hurrying forward. No… no… He was supposed to protect her, not let her run off into the woods! He paused long enough to feel the dark stuff on the ground, well running forward.
  16. He forged forward, unused to the snow. He had preferred to teleport to warmer planets, well on the run. Awesome recap
  17. He frowned. Was this… from Tam? Whoever sent it, he hurriedly tugged on the coat and the snowshoes, grabbed the rest and forged forward.
  18. He frowned, grabbing the note, squinting to read it in the fading light.
  19. Cricket pulled his coat closer, shivering. His pack had Tam’s blankets just in case. He shouldered forward. Must… find Tam. Find… Tam. did tam bring a coat?
  20. Were they? Too bad he can go back if you want he groaned in pain, staggering down the path.
  21. Oh well ignore the last part of that post tho He inspected them carefully, sighed, and went forward. It was cold, and he wanted to find Tam, before it got colder. The sun was setting through the trees and snow had begun to fall.
  22. Close enough it was a bad metaphor Fortunately, Cricket was very determined to find her, and kept on going. Gotcha Cricket found Tam. “Hi.” he said quietly.
  23. Well he’s kinda good at this maybe not 100 yards, maybe just 100 feet that makes more sense Cricket sighed, leaning against a tree, breathing hard. Every time he teleported, it felt like a knife to the gut, and he knew exactly what they felt like. He groaned, standing and staggered forward, continuing to teleport.
