    His fingers slipped, and the momentum sent her flying. He stood up. "She doesn't need you to 'guide' her. What she needs is actual parents who know how to do their bloody job. How about you stay the heck out of my way, and we'll see where we end up?"

    "Making your house great? At the expense of her soul? I'm not sure you realize this, but you nearly ruined her trying to make her into a proper heir." He shrugged, and seized her, spinning her with inhumane strength.

    "Uh, okay." he said, offering her his palms, which made her hands seem tiny in comparison.

    He sighed, letting himself be taken through with it, though admittedly, by the end, it was nice seeing how he looked in fancy clothes. "Like what?" he grunted.
