If we’re advertising things, I am starting an RP here:
-
“No, much stranger. My society has supposedly made up stories of his, or at least a society much like it. They’re considered some of the best movies of all time, even over a century later - people keep making up stories that take place in their universe.” Nick looks baffled. “How someone from a fictional world can be here, I have no idea. It is closer to my world than yours. People travel between the stars, meeting creatures from planets around them, and there are metal people built to assist others, at least if this is really the world of Star Wars.”
-
“Nice to meet you, Larry. You’re an imperial stormtrooper? From Star Wars? A lot of strange things have happened to me in the past few weeks, but this may be the strangest. At least there’ll be someone who can accept my technology level.” SIMON speaks through the communicator. “Hello! I’m SIMON, Nick’s suit AI. He’s able to talk to you now, though, so you don’t really need me.”

I had an old post theorizing that several spikes of hemalurgic iron increases strength, speed, wakefulness, warmth, health, and determination (all the pushing ferruchemical attributes other than spiritual, although I can think of some arguments for Connection too), while reducing senses, emotional stability, and intelligence (the other three hemalurgic non-MoI attributes). Potentially some of the spiritweb is overwritten with more strength and related attributes, decreasing the other human attributes. I think hemalurgic constructs in general could be understood much better than they are; we need more examples.

"Gemini can tie it, I assume." @Ancient Elantrian you're still there, right? Do you still need stabbing?

"If I think about something too hard - just noticing it generally works - I either pick it up or attack it." Veer calls up. "That's why I'm at the clinic. My name is Veer."

The random objects form a lattice that looks flimsy but could probably be stood on. “Huh, they didn’t hit-“ the entire set of objects flies up and hits the ceiling. With some effort, Veer makes them go back to the hole.

“Interesting. Do you know why there is a hole in my ceiling? Actually, get so you can’t see me through it.” Waiting a second or two for Aventine to do so, Veer closes his eyes, looks up, the opens them again. A few random objects launch upward, stopping at the hole because that was what Veer had been thinking about. If Aventine didn’t move, some gravel, a fork, and Veer’s room key are sent at her face.

"Me too. I only have so much sedative." Nick turns back to the stormtrooper, pulling his hood back off and putting his hand out for a handshake. "I'm Nick Bryer, from the IISC." @AltonicKeys

Geocentric, but the earth is round (in fact, it is a perfect sphere except for mountains and other landforms, which is not true in our world.)
-
“Great! It worked.” Nick examines the creature more fully, documenting it for study.
-
Yeah, that would work.
-
If you want to help run plot things, you can PM me. You could have something to do with plastic, immortality, specific alchemical formulas for materials, spontaneous generation, new machines such as cars and telegraphs, or astronomy and space exploration. Those are all fields of research that are considered possible, but not fully explored.

I think that list, plus previous games, covers everything other than the Medieval Wizard world. And some non-Cosmere short stories. We could do I Hate Dragons…
-
Yay! This will be fun… Some other options include Earth (Reckoners) and Earth (Rithmatist), as well as whatever the planet from Yumi and the Nightmare Painter is. Oh, and Lumar and Sel. Minor Sixth of Dusk spoilers Minor Sunlight Man spoilers Minor Warbreaker spoilers Minor White Sand spoilers

“Me neither. And this didn’t happen when we froze you.” Nick walks forward. “Calm down. We’re not going to hurt you. I’m just going to touch you, and then you’ll be asleep.” he says soothingly (his voice sounds nervous, but SIMON doctored the version coming through the speakers). Little balls of sedative well up from the fabric of Nick’s glove, and he puts it to the creature’s skin, weathering the thrashing with the knowledge that his suit will protect him. If it’s earth compatible, it falls asleep. If it’s not, this is likely poison.
-
Nick closes the wings, and follows, shining his light at it.
-
“Things float around me because someone did something and corrupted my gift. What I used to do was change which way things moved. Imagine a ball flying through the air. Then imagine walls, curves, and ramps changing which way it moves. That’s what my power used to do. And it still does, but now it’s broken.” He sounds sad, though his face is hard to see. “I don’t know what the king’s advisor did, but now my power is easy to use. So easy in fact, that if I think about something, I pick it up or send something towards it. That’s why I’ve been looking down. If I don’t see something, it’s harder to think about.” If Gemini looks upward, there’s a hole in the ceiling, through which is Adventine and a mysterious figure in Lukas’ room.

Nick goes back to shielding the opening with his artificial wings, leaving only small gaps at the edges. He walks forward, confident that the new suit layer will protect him from the pebbles. I believe @J. Magi is in front of him, but Nick would try to go around if he didn't move.
