    Okay so I have a friend who doesn't/didn't* believe that every person's footsteps sound different, and I thought well who better to help me prove that then other people who live in the basement?

    Y'know?

    Anyone else who knows this is also welcome to join in too, lol.

      Shorty my sister and I used to talk through the vents!! That's a core childhood memory

      i used to live in the basement with my sister until we got a bigger house

      and you can absolutely tell people apart from their footsteps

      I'm not a basement dweller either, but hardwood floors definitely make footstep noises and I'm fairly sure I've gotten a feel for the differences in steps. But I also don't live with many different people.
