We know that Kelsier is Thaidakar. That's what they call it in Roshar. Perhaps Thaidakar means Survivor in a Scadrial language, and from the point of view of the inhabitants of Roshar it is understood as Thaidakar, because it is an extraterrestrial word. Perhaps the origin of the name Thaidakar was already explained in Lost Metal, but I have not read it.
