Then you heard a question from one of them. "Why does no one try?"

It was general tidbits, this person robbed, that person's brother assassinated, that sorta thing. "I give you money and tell you to run and hide in a random sector until things can be picked up again."

"Yep." There were some whispers of bad things happening that you overheard. You were listening for civil unrest after all.

It was the same for a while, you thought that you should go grab a drink
