    Therapist: No.

     

    I don't struggle with depression.
    Like, at this point I have it down.
    I'm good at depression.

     

    *feels myself disassociating and staring off into space*
    *shifts my eyes to try and snap out of it*
    *starts staring into space in the new direction*

     

    Me: I'm depressed.
    Therapist: They're depressed.
    Doctor: They're depressed. 
    My parents: Are they, though?
