My 6th grade brother recently read through it, and he kept complaining about the Shallan and the Dalinar chapters- Kaladin was basically the only thing that kept him going. He's on WOR now and going strong though! I have a friend who's read stormlight and refuses to read Mistborn because it's too dark and too fast paced haha

Somebody stop me, I want to write a parody of "Never had a friend like me" from Aladdin, but make it "Never had a Spren like me" sung by Syl- "Mr Kaladin sir, ..."

Update: Just finished WoA, I really liked seeing the Well scene from both points of view. The only change I'd make so far is putting the Hoid chapter (2-1) in between parts 2 and 3 of WoA, almost like an interlude, so that we get a Kelsier update at a better time.

I just recently picked up XCDE! About 10 hours in currently, but I'm gonna have to take a bit of a break for Mario Wonder, which I'm starting today.

A Pattern interlude has already been suggested, but I think it could be cool to have. In the same vein, a Sibling or Stormfather interlude could be cool. Maybe a Taravangian interlude, or, (almost definitely not) A RAYSE INTERLUDE??? Or maybe a Cultivation interlude, that could be cool. Whatever he ends up doing, I'm excited! I also hope for a tease of a back half character we haven't seen yet.

Yeah, for sure- I just can't see him doing that dark of an ending- which would also make it more fun if he did!

Always glad for a bit of insanity! Hmm, that's hard... this might be recency bias, but I really loved Ahsoka. Mando seasons 1 and 2, Empire Strikes Back, Rogue One, and Rebels are all also favorites for me.

This is a really good pitch, especially for a Threnody novel, which, if you want to keep up the themes from Shadows for Silence, would have to be pretty dark. Honestly, this would be a good pitch for a Dan novel.

You also have to remember- the Yoki Hijo aren't the only magic system on Komashi. The other way (Komashins?) could become a greater power in the cosmere is with the Hion lines. If they could somehow figure out how to disconnect the hion from the main planet, then they could use that to power a form of power suit, maybe? Komashi could have both Magical Girls and Power Rangers. (Note: I haven't read Yumi since it came out, and I might be getting some facts wrong. Please feel free to correct me.) (Also, why is this in Sunlit spoilers? lol)

I saw a post somewhere (I think it was on the Discord) that was a reading order that overlapped Secret History with Mistborn Era 1 in timeline order. Basically, after Kelsier died, it put the secret history chapters perfectly where/right before they aligned with events in Era 1. Does anyone know where this reading order is/ how I could find it? I want to do a mistborn reread like this.

Ooh, that's a hard one- I think I'm gonna go with Rayse. I really liked how confident he was, and seeing his confidence and plans break apart at the end of oathbringer was really cool. He brought a certain gravitas to all the scenes in that book, which was missing in ROW- maybe I should just say Oathbringer Rayse, haha-
