    Dilsha raised an eyebrow at the gold bar. That was almost half as much as her daily allowance back home. “Of course, uh, your highness.” She almost giggled, but years of diplomacy lessons held it in. Her. Calling someone “your highness”. The novelty was wonderful. “Would you like a meal first, a drink maybe?”

    "Do you need something? Help maybe?"

    Zira laughed, laughed long and hard. "Talk less," she advised. "You'll sound smarter that way. Do you know who I am, little boy? Do you know that Eddie was my friend, my mentor...that Siylna is still in me, and that everything that happened that day..." her gaze darkened for a moment. Then she was grinning again. "It made me who I am now, fool."

    "Ah yes, because I'm the fool now." Ezrium laughed. "Well, little girl, just know that when you eventually crash and burn, I'll be here.  Or maybe I won't. You won't know."
