    Nova cried. She cried as she ran. She ran away from all of her worries. She ran until she couldn't anymore. And then she continued to run. She didn't care. She ran. She ran for what seemed like forever.

    "Melody?" Ezrium shook her, for she was still back in the clinic. For she had never left in the first place.

    Suddenly, Melody was no longer in the clinic. She was back in the vision she had when she was in the timeless area.

    The ball smashed into Ezrium's face and knocked him to the ground. It left a large red mark on his cheek. "You threw it rather hard there, eh?"

    Ezrium made another portal, and the ball shot straight at him. He prepared himself for impact.

    Nova followed the path, wondering if it was the work of Merp.

    Ezrium sighed. "All right," he grabbed the ball and threw it to her.

    The Emu ran at the Butterfly excitedly, lifting the snail up onto it's head.

    Nova was very sad. She plunged her head into the sand. She began to suffocate in the sand.

    Ezrium made a portal, and the ball went through and flew straight at him.

    Ezrium sat in his cell, bored. This was the sixth year. Sixth year he had been in this prison. Things were looking bleak.

    "... interesting... Hey, how about we try something! So now, here's a ball, and I want you to throw it as hard as you can at the wall, as if it were to hurt someone." Ezrium handed Melody a blue ball.

    Nova sat down in the sand, not even caring if it was quicksand or if it was on fire. She had failed her one job. Her purpose in life. She was a failure. She laid down completely in the sand, sad that Merp was gone. Merp was too good for her anyways. She wasn't good enough for Merp. He had left her for that reason, she convinced herself. She was an absolutely useless failure.
