  1. I've started reading the novel recently, but I haven't finished that yet. I'm mostly caught up on the webtoon (I say mostly because I haven't read the stuff that costs coins or ads), but I call it ORV because I honestly forget that the webtoon isn't called that! I really enjoy the story and the characters though, it's my favorite "game-system apocalypse" story for many reasons but I suppose mainly because of its really interesting and unique take on the genre and its premise on the power of creating and telling stories. Since you clearly also really enjoy ORV, I think you might like A Practical Guide to Evil and Return of the Runebound Professor! APGE has a power system in place that's reminiscent of ORV's story-based power system. It revolves around the idea of certain names of power and the roles and kinds of stories associated with them, and are divided into heroic and villainous names. Return of the Runebound Professor is about a High-School Music Teacher who is reborn into the body of some crappy magical professor, and also finds himself involved in some dangerous conspiracies! I really like the way the rune-based magic system is explained and also the different ways in which the MC goes about applying his knowledge of real-world physics (mostly involving sound and vibration because music teacher) to the way he uses his magic.
  2. Hello, Webtoon reader since high school over here! My first webtoon was Always Human by walkingnorth, but I'm currently reading quite a few series, although I'm waiting on most of them to update! I've been reading ORV, The Greatest Estate Developer, Nevermore, Containment Zone, Love and Other Wicked Things, Little Hollow Café, and Auto Hunting With My Clones as well as other things. I'm waiting on the next seasons for A Practical Guide to Evil as well as Return of the Runebound Professor. I also need to catch back up with Death: Rescheduled. I read Freaking Romance and Nightmare Factory (while it existed), but I haven't read D:R in a while unfortunately!
  3. This might be sort of basic, but my first choice would definitely by Hoid as he's my favorite character in the Cosmere! And I feel like it would be really fun to enact the personality of a whimsical mortal with way too much trauma and uses humor, wit, and storytelling as an almost socratic method of teaching. Jasnah would be cool to portray, but I don't think I'm old enough to really pull off Jasnah's particular brand of maturity convincingly. Hoid's a bit different because he often acts pretty youthful but has the weight of years on him, which feels more doable to me than someone who acts like the most intelligent person in the room because they are. Some honorable mentions would be Pattern and Lopen, because they are both really fun characters, Moash just because I despise him so much and I think it would be really interesting to portray him, or Elhokar because who doesn't love a heroic and tragic death right before a climax in a growth arc. I can already think of more that I would like portraying for various reasons, but I could probably keep thinking of characters to play for hours.
  4. I really loved Mistborn, and I don't know if I like it or Stormlight more. I recently started rereading Stormlight to prepare for book 5 and to catch some things I missed on my first read-through, and I learned that Way of Kings is pretty nostalgic for me.
  5. Thanks! I'm glad to be here! I made up the name a few years ago, and it's gradually started becoming my go-to username
  6. Across the Cosmere, definitely Hoid! But I also really like TenSoon from Mistborn Era 1 and Pattern from Stormlight!
  7. Hello! I've been meaning to join for a while, but was distracted for a while! I started reading the Stormlight Archives a little over a year ago, and then some friends lent me the Mistborn trilogy. I'm still making my way through the Cosmere, and I can't believe it's taken me this long to hear about Brandon Sanderson!
