  1. He raises his eye at the vial. ”I think this helped.”
  2. Ayrton gasped. "Did you just-" The child stared at his leg in awe. "Did I just-"
  3. The child woke up. "Da? What are you doing?"
  4. He hesitantly poured it on the leg.
  5. He held his hand back. “No-“
  6. He followed it cautiously. He didn't want to hurt his child.
  7. He sighed, bringing it inside wrapped in his shirt. "Hey, what's that?" His wife asked. "I... I'm not sure."
  8. He furrowed his brow, walking towards his house. I probably shouldn't bring this inside...
  9. He picked up the vial. "How strange..."
  10. He stood and went to inspect the lily.
  11. He sat down cross legged, looking around himself.
  12. Ayrton was cautious as he entered the clearing.
  13. This felt dangerous... he glanced back at his front door, and then went on his way to the forest.
  14. He furrows his brow, but walks outside to see what the thing was.
  15. He smiled back. The wizard nodded at the dragon. "What is your name?"
  16. Ayrton walked to the window at the front of the shop, looking outside.
  17. "I like you too, little one." "I am sorry you feel that way."
  18. Ayrton sat on the crumbling bed where his son was asleep, brushing a lock of hair out of his child's face. His heart ached—this boy would never know what it was like to run, to tumble, to play... he bit his lip. Ayrton gently placed the back of his hand on the child's forehead. It was hot. Too hot. The palsy was bad enough, but the fever... His wife walked in. "How is he doing?" "Not good..." Ayrton replied. "And we haven't had business recently. We can't afford any more medicine." He sighed, rubbing his temples. "We need someone, anyone, to come in... or we might not even be able to put food on the table."
  19. Elan nodded. "When do we leave." He smiled. "You too."
  20. The wizard looked at him sadly. "It's never too late to change." He smiled softly.
  21. "Killing is a dark art." "Ah, a tower... I miss my tower..."
