    Elan 2 holds out a hand and two knives made of ice form in them. He throws one at the first of the serpents, acting as if the conversation he just had never happened. I'm doing fine! He thinks. They'll think I'm weird if I have problems, I HAVE TO BE fine! No more talking about my feelings.

    "Um... I like... hanging out with my brother, eating good food, good writing... hugs... when people notice me and think I'm funny." Elan 2 says. Elan 1 looks up. Then he sighs and looks back at the ground and keeps walking on.

    Either I suddenly have a random tidbit, and then start writing and build a world around that tidbit. Or I just decide to write and see where it goes.
