    The Boy pulled out a small device. He pressed a button on it, and immediately he was warped away. He appeared a week ago. In Lukas’s original room. I won’t harm him in the future. I’ll harm him in the past.

    Kaleb nods. He gingerly used a gloved hand to pull a single pulsating blueish-white crystal from a pouch. He flicks it expertly at one of the chickens. From where it hits a wave of thick, icy frost forms. The chicken is quickly frozen, encased in ice.

    “What does THAT mean?!” Kaleb shakes his hand. Badly.

    Kaleb looks at his hand strangely. “I don’t know. I just showed up here…”

    Kaleb jumps. “WHAT IS THAT?!” He shouts. “WHO ARE YOU?!?!?!”
