“I think I’ll follow him, though, since I don’t have any better leads,” Sya responds. “I go where she goes,” Not-Mya says.

Eventually an old Thaylen woman walked up. “Young man. Why are you loitering outside of my shop?”

Sya turns to the rest of her newfound family. “Do you think that’s true, or is he just crazy?”

“Hi!” The Mistspren says. “I’m Breathing-while-dead (she/they), but you can call me Breathing or Dead! I’m from Perpetual Sobriety, which is shared between us and the Honorspren!”

Suddenly, a Mistspren comes out of the air. “You’re bonded to a Cryptic?!” they ask. “That is so. Cool. I’ve never met a Cryptic. Are they here?”

Sya awkwardly joins in the hugs.

“I myself am radiant (a Truthwatcher), and I have some…other abilities of a different fashion.”

“That would indeed be quite helpful,” Nandok says, taking the diamond mark. “I’m Nandok. Who are you?”

Actually, Cylen hates floof. She is overjoyed not to have any. The family left on their trip, searching for the capital. “Willy, do you know where the capital is?” Sya asks. @ΨιτιsτηεΒέsτ

Five seconds later, Willy stops laughing.

Actually, all that happens is that she grows horns and fur and becomes a satyr.

Thanks! It’s good that you didn’t think it was too clear. I was trying to have some foreshadowing and hinting, but not make it obvious. And I try to make Zinnia’s chapters a more casual tone than the rest of the novel. Also, I felt like doing more writing. I won’t be able to get Sunlit Man for a few months, but taking the first two paragraphs from Brandon’s website, I decided to make my own version. This is completely unrelated to Theft, just an idea for writing I had. I might continue this story later if I feel like it. No one give me any spoilers for the actual novel, please!

That depends. Leather looks the coolest but is expensive and hard to get, hardcover does the best at keeping the book in a good condition, and paperback is the cheapest.

Suddenly, a being comes from the heavens, with dark hair and eyes. Sya thinks that this is the Raven of Ravens, the supreme god in her religion. “I accept this proclamation.” The being pulls out a magic wand. “I am a stick!” The magic wand says. “I pronounce you all the Ssuff family, in addition to all of your other responsibilities. You are now all Ssuff.”

The dragon is floofy again, to make the hug more comfortable.

Nandok hands her a mug filled with boiling water and leaves, and gets himself one, though it is a different flavor than that of Lasina.

Nothing happens for a long time. Several years later, though, after all of this, the dragon gets married. Everyone suddenly loses their ability to contemplate.

An elf walked up to them, who looked almost exactly like Mya. “Hi!” She says. “Can I have your social security number?”

“Yes, those of us who do not fight in the war frequently find ourselves without any work. I usually study during these times, but now something worries me. Worries me very much. Tea?”

The dragon became very sad, and soon realized that he couldn’t find his car keys.

Nandok jumps out of the way of the projectile, then grabs the mark. They have shoulder-length raven-black hair, Shin blue eyes and light skin, lighter than even most Shin, and wear black robes and a lot of jewelry, earrings and necklaces and rings. “I assume you’re here because of the poster? If so, then welcome! We will need a few more people before we begin, but I am glad to have you. I must say that that was a very fast arrival.”
