Welcome to the shard fellow traveler! Luckily there isnt much in the cosmere past that. Just warbreaker, yumi and the nightmare painter (the one that just came out), white sand (the comic book), and some short stories. I would highly recommend you read elantris before tress.

Nah, it's not weird, Kaladin's a great protagonist. There are a few novels where I prefer the side characters, but Sanderson has written plenty of other good protagonists. And yeah, hate threads are fun to read through, even if I disagree with them. Forums become dull if everyone has the same opinion on everything.

Yes, I see what you meant about Syl and I agree that she's been acting more like Kal. Also, by 'depression' I meant bad things have been happening to Kal from the start of the series and have never really let up, so I doubt Sanderson is going to end things with it being too tragic for him. Kal becoming the vessel of Odium seems too dark of a place to leave him off, even if he has control over the shard.
