    “Your food will be here soon,” the nurse said, exiting.

    “Probably the next couple of days, as long as your hand keeps getting better.”

    The nurse looked at it. “It looks like it’s healing well, make sure you don’t strain it at all.”

    “She’s right,” Daniel whispered. “Here, let me check your hand,” the nurse said.
