That’s a difficult question to answer! The magic system in Mistborn is interesting and satisfying, I think I’ll have to pick that.

I can't see the image, but thank you for trying. I'm not sure what you mean by standard 'longer on the top' haircut, but I'll assume you mean something unstyled like a French Crop or some other sort of fringe. I hope it does get moved to the Mistborn section, I put it in the wrong place.

I am writing a fantasy story, with slight elements of humour, with a world loosely inspired by Wheel of Time, Brandon Sanderson books and Legend of Zelda, featuring a magic system revolving around magical obelisks. Hello, I’m not entirely certain if this is the correct place to ask this question, as I am new to the forum, but I have had a burning question on my mind as soon as I saw it. In page 142 of The Well of Ascension, during Elend Venture’s makeover, this sentence is spotted: ”It wasn’t extremely short like Ham’s hair, but it was neat and precise” I was confused; I found this to be a vague description and I thought about it, tried to find evidence of Elend’s exact style, and eventually I resolved to make an account here and ask: What hairstyle does he actually have at the end of this haircut? Is it a crew cut? A side part? A middle part? If anyone knows the answer to this question, I would love to hear it.
