She looked down at her feet and the evaporated snow. “I have control over the elements, which includes water.”

She blinked in confusion and concern.

“We’ve met briefly a couple times.” @InfiniteInsanity

“Oh, it’s actually…” Trevor gave directions to the cafeteria.

"Fair point. Most of the patients are in the cafeteria now as well. You can introduce yourself to them as well. After you're done, you can come back here. I'll check out your memories, see what you need done, and get you a room key."

Trevor thought for a moment. "Using staff powers, I would be able to see the memory and potentially figure out what was done."

Trevor nodded. "We have some people here who can help you learn to control your power."

"Clouds," he muttered, almost wistfully. He cleared his throat and spoke slightly louder. "That hardly sounds like your fault. However, I assume you came here for sanctuary?"

His lip curled upwards on one side, playful and curious. "How exactly does one accidentally stab someone?" The playfulness was evident in his tone.

A man with extremely hawkish features and slicked-back hair stood at a desk not far from the door. He wore a tuxedo, minus the jacket, and had a small pouch tied to his belt. "Hello," the man said, "and welcome to the Insanity Clinic for the Mildly Branfandonitis Afflicted and Other Maladies. My name is Trevor."

"Yes... yes it is." Aventine looked slightly away from Sunny and Delphi. The words echoed in her head: You'll find out. Hopefully without dying.

The fire disappeared as she continued walking with Aora. Every time she lifted her foot to walk forward, the snow underneath her had melted into water and absorbed into her.

"I'm..." She thought for a moment, running her fingers through her hair. "I'm alive." The hand drifted to her midsection. "It hurts, a lot, but the bleeding has stopped, thank goodness."

Aventine did. Sunny noticed their approach, giving them a weak smile and wave.

"In my room, getting ready to come down." Her eyes flitted in the direction of the stairwell. Maybe I shouldn't have left him alone... Sunny sat nearby, hair down and slightly messy. She looked exhausted.

“Um… I’ve never done it before, but you can if you want.” …where’s Lukas?

She nodded. “That’s a good trait. Keeps you alive.”

Yeah, that tracks. She nodded. “Alright then.”

“Okay, I’m sorry if this is rude, but how are you so tall?!”

She blinked. The [heck] is going on?

"Did you... not want me to?"

Only one person may have each species. You will have this partner with you as the RP starts, not receive it from a professor figure. As everyone tells me the starter they will have, I will strikethrough so you know which ones are taken. Now, CHOOSE YOUR STARTER! (If you can think of a three-stage, non-stone evolution Pokémon that is not on this list, ask for approval and you might be able to use them. I didn't have access to Serebii/Bulbapedia/Pokémon Database when compiling this list.) ~~~ Poké Marts: Poké Marts are places to buy and sell items for your or your Pokémon’s benefit. You can buy potions, Poké Balls and held items. All items in the Poké Marts cost what they would in Pokémon Scarlet/Violet except that there is no Delibird Presents or Chansey Supply, all items can be bought at any time at the Poké Mart. More items will become available as you earn more Gym badges. Poké Marts and Pokémon Centers will be run by @Exotic Almond . Money: Everyone starts with a set amount of money (1,500). You can ask a Game Master to fight an NPC Trainer to get a little bit of money (determined by them depending on the Trainer class). 3-5 Trainer classes will be offered depending on location, and you may choose which class to battle. Amulet Coin, Payday etc also grants extra money. If 2 players battle, the loser gives 1/10 of their money to the victor. PLEASE KEEP TRACK OF HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE. THIS WILL MAKE IT EASIER WHEN BUYING SO EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT THEY CAN AFFORD. Item: Items such as Potions and Revives cannot be used in battle but outside of battle is fine. Held items do function in battle. Depending on what items you possess, you may ask to change a Pokémon's held item. You can also ask a GM to go on a little adventure to find an item you want. It may take a bit to set up but, in the end you’ll probably battle some ‘Mons and trainers. The GM can also determine that you just find an item while out exploring. Evolutions: Pokémon that evolve based on level up will evolve at GM discretion. Pokémon that evolve with stones will still evolve with stones, which may be found or purchased at specialty shops. Pokémon with quest evolutions (i.e. Galarian Farfetch'd or Primeape) will evolve at GM discretion. Pokémon with wacky evolution tactics (i.e. Galarian Yamask) will evolve via stone. The following spoiler box contains a list of every stone that will be available. Pokémon that evolve via trading with another Trainer will evolve at GM discretion. Gyms/Pokémon League: There will be a Gym for 14 Pokémon types. The remaining four types will be the Elite Four. A list of Gym Leaders and their towns/cities is attached below. You may choose any eight to battle. The Gym Leader's Pokémon will scale to the level of yours. The teams of the Elite Four and Champion will not be revealed. Evil Organization: The evil organization will be revealed after the RP begins. RPing will begin September 2nd. There is not a set hour when it will begin. PLEASE use some form of communication to give us your character's name, starter, and the town where they will begin their Pokémon journey.
