    Snapping out of his mood, Kal's head turned to the cave. He nodded, then his spirits seemed to fall again.

    She laid down next to him and wrapped her arms around him. "I know it hurts."

    "I'm okay. I just... I miss her. I was hurt really bad, and I think I was dying before I came here... I don't think I'll ever be able to see her again."
