  1. “You gave us a heads up. That gave us time to prepare.” ~~~ Hiding in a corner in the small basement room, Marewill sat curled on the floor with her sister in her lap. Lily had buried her face in Mare’s chest and had started to cry. Mare rubbed her back and kissed her head. “It’s okay,” she whispered. “I got you.”
  2. Lily took a step backward, tears starting to form. Fortunately, Mark had been heard throughout the house. Rashi grabbed the young girl’s wrist and pulled her down to the basement. The rest of Tinker’s family followed. @Magi There was a banging on the door. Marewill folded the paper, gloves still on, and hid it in her shoe. She opened it and was pushed back at the people flooding in. Her little sister wrapped her arms around her abdomen. “Willy!” She squatted down, putting a hand on Lily’s cheek. “Lily, what’s happening?” ”We’re under attack,” Rashi answered. ~~~ Falr and Milay were ready to help Mark fight.
  3. “That lurch was definitely a surprise.” She heard their conversation being next to them, but didn’t join.
  4. He left money on the table for their meal and tip and stood.
  5. He chuckled. “Let’s wander around then. If you see something you want to try, we’ll do it.”
  6. “I.. I’m sorry. I’m still.. not really the best at talking to most people.”
  7. She smiled sadly. “My last boyfriend… he loves to sing. I was forced to learn music, and I hated it, but he… He made me love part of myself that I’d grown to hate.”
  8. “Maybe. But I think I might want to see more of this one. There’s probably more culture we haven’t seen… a not so rude one.”
  9. “If I’ve learned anything in the past few weeks, it’s that one life can change everything.”
  10. “Yeah. So what do you want to do?” @The Stormfather Lily answered. “Hi, Mark.” She noticed his distress. “Is something wrong?”
  11. “Yeah. For a couple weeks, when I first ran away, I lived in a slum.”
  12. She glared at the women and looked back at the wires.
  13. She watched for a little while. “They shouldn’t have done that.”
