“Perhaps for humans.” “I’ve had plenty of time to be content after you left.” -
Another guard sighed, picked her up, and took her back outside of that hallway.

“And if the person doesn’t want a new perspective? If they’re content with the way they are?”

She looked at him. She seemed calm now.

“Not this kind. I can’t let you come into this part of the castle.”

She ignored it.

“I believe your master warned you not to upset me.”

“Kid, there are things here you don’t want to see.” He paused for dramatic effect. “Scary things.”

“You should return to your chambers.”

She growled, removed the talon from his neck, and cut deeply into his cheek. She picked him up and threw him into a pile of wool.

She nodded and looked at her blob-ball.

“What are you adventuring for?”

“Were you not my brother’s ward, you would be dead already. Don’t push your luck, human.”

She blushed. “Thanks? So.. was there anything else I needed to do or know?”

She is stopped by a guard who asks who she is and what she’s doing.

She growled, mouth opening and slobber dripping onto his face.

She chuckled. She put a talon on Calerain’s neck. “It would be so easy…”

“Then why do you feel you have the authority to tell me what to think.” She tossed the quiver back.

“Um-is there anything that I should try to do?”

“If you want me to let you out again you must do better the next time I allow you to hunt. “ “I don’t owe you anything, human.”
