So the song “We Didn’t Start The Fire” was released in 1989 by Billy Joel and it very briefly covers major people and events in the time between 1949 and 1989. It talks about how the world events of that time weren’t the baby boomer’s fault.
It’s been almost 40 years since its release and a lot has happened. I think it’s time for a part two covering gen X, millennials, and gen Z.
Except I wasn’t alive for all of that time, and I wasn’t aware of the world for a lot of it. So, if you are a gen xer or millennial who knows a decent amount about the history between 1989 and now, it would be awesome if you could post it in this thread!
