    She got off the bed and took it, muttering thanks.

    She winced again, and laid down on the bed to take the tension off her side. She cried silently.

    Series I’d strongly recommend watching: Band of Brothers 

    There’s a good amount of language and gore, and while split into 10 segments it’s about a 13 hour time commitment. But it’s about a company of American paratroopers during WWII, from their training 2 years before D-Day to VJ Day. Based on a book, which was based on real men’s lives. Absolutely worth the watch
