    We're doing an anthropology unit in my sociology class. After a few presentations tomorrow, we're going to start watching Avatar. You know, the three-hour movie. But from a sociological anthropologist perspective.

    It's a weighted class and we're spending a week watching a movie.

      So we have a worksheet we're filling out with the movie talking about ethnocentrism (believing your culture is better than others) and also looking at aspects of Na'vi culture like technology, language, and norms, etc.
