So a couple nights ago I had this dream that I was performing in a music group. There was a keys player, upright bass, guitar (Tom Morello was the guitarist??? but he had a beard????), and I was on violin. Tom Morello and I were doing vocals.
So anyway we got through our setlist, but the crowd wanted us to keep going, and we didn't have an encore. So, slightly freaking out, I said to the musicians, "Okay, we'll just improv." And I told the keys player to mess around with C, which they did, and slowly we added the other instruments and improved a very bluesy tune. I remember two things about the lyrics.
1. Tom Morello did the first verse and I did the second.
2. The chorus was the title of the song in a four-count pattern of dotted eighth, sixteenth, triplet, dotted eighth, sixteenth, quarter, and it was me speak-singing it and then Tom Morello yelling it in the audience's faces, because the two of us were wandering around in the crowd for some reason.
...
The song was called "Baby Bee's Can't Be Mama Bees."
