Through the Living Hope

So yesterday was pretty amazing.

I serve in nursery at my church and was with toddlers. There was one little girl who was crying because she missed her mom, so I got to spend like half an hour hugging a crying child.

Then after I left, a girl who graduated to children’s church gave me a bracelet. Her family had gone to the farmers market the day before and she’d gotten a bracelet, then picked up another one and said “This one for [my name].” When I say I almost cried.

That afternoon into the evening, a family in our church had a Memorial Day party and I drove their four wheeler, and two of my best friends did too. It was an incredible experience, including the times I almost got flung from the four wheeler. I also held a couple chickens.

And then we went home and watched a few Parks and Rec episodes. It was a great day.
