I am rereading RoW. I am looking in Hesina's interlude. On pages 1055-1056, Lirin and Hesina are jibing back and forth over how her father hates Lirin (her dad sounds like he has some good common sense there...). Maybe I am just overthinking it, but Lirin's response ruffled my feathers. Hesina thinks her dad may be dead, and Lirin says he can't be because: "He'd be haunting me, obviously....Living as a shade in the storms, calling for my blood." I do not have Stormlight e-books, so I cannot do a search for the word shade. Is this word thrown around often in the series? Using both words SHADE and BLOOD in the same sentence was just an interesting choice of words to me. TIA to any who can offer input.
