Kandy sits next to him and hugs him. "It's ok. all we can do is hope and pray that Sharpo wont be chosen." She feels a tear coming to her eye. "The games were never good. now, we have to fight from the shadows. we are representation of the failed last games. The rebellion needed us. but the capitol children... they are disposable. but also they are symbolism of the old generation." she sighs.

She shrugs. "Why would they have all these peacekeepers still? why does the capitol" she spits that word "still exist? and why, for gods sake, would they really have wanted to keep the kids of the capitol alive? this is their way of saying 'we still have control' without blatently saying it?" "and lets be honest, what would your father have done?"
