Welp, I wrote a poem from Kaladin's perspective, so now I gotta write one from Shallan's perspective! Here y'all go!!

Fury and Fear

Fists clenched, anger barely curbed,
Bottled up and ready to burst.
Breathe. Breathe. Calm is needed.
Breathe deep of the sweet air.

Angry footsteps in the hall,
Back pressed against the cold stone wall,
Fear crawling up the spine,
Breathe deep of the cool air.

Anxiety, hot hatred,
Fearful screams building in the chest.
Tense, awaiting the shouts.
Breathe deep of the calm air.

Doors slam, blood pours across boards,
Hide trembling hands in long silk sleeves.
Fearful, anxious, afraid…
Breathe deep and forget all.
