Our Archipelago - A Chaotic RP
InfiniteInsanity replied to Channelknight Fadran's topic in Roleplaying
Fiadh's head snapped up at the sound of her name. She took a moment to process what Whist had said. Then she shrugged. "It still hurts a bit but not as much. I think it's better." She grabbed the cloak.- 3518 replies

Fiadh listened for about the first couple of sentences of this conversation and then she just kind of zones off. She played with her skirt just sort of fiddling with it. And that's when she realized that it was covered in blood from her scrapes. It was all dried now. Fiadh shuddered. She didn't like blood. Reminded her too much of her past.- 3518 replies

Fiadh was a bit confused. Everything had happened so fast. She had just kind of been following Whist. As they crouched behind the cargo boxes she sorted out facts while the other two talked. The older woman was Whist. Whist was nice, she had helped bandage Fiadh's leg and had given her food. Whist also had given her a hug. And then she had defended the other girl. The other girl seemed nice too, but Fiadh wasn't entirely sure about her. And then Whist had knocked out the lady who was definitely not nice. And now they were in an alleyway crouched behind boxes. Fiadh sighed and then sat on the ground. Crouching kind of hurt. She looked at Whist, waiting to see what happened. Maybe it would help things make sense.- 3518 replies

Fiadh looked at Whist her eyes wide. Could she really trust this woman? Yes. Yes I can I have to. No one's coming. Fiadh hesitated a couple more seconds and took a deep breath before answering, "Parents? Dead I think. Home. Whatever I decided to be."- 3518 replies

Fiadh watched the exchange between Whist and the girl as she finished the second apple. Whatever Whist had put on her scrape was working, Fiadh could hardly feel the pain anymore. Fiadh finished the apple, "Thank you so much Whist." That's what you were supposed to say when someone was nice to you if she remembered correctly.- 3518 replies

Fiadh paused. Maybe her rules were wrong, maybe she could trust some people. This woman seemed nice. But so had her grandparents. Fiadh decides to give this woman a chance, "Fiadh." She took the second apple and started eating it.- 3518 replies

Fiadh froze for a couple seconds when the woman put her arm around her. No one had intentionally touched her in a long time. And she couldn't remember the last time someone had touched her to comfort her or in an act of kindness. She took a couple deep breaths and calmed down a bit. And then the woman offered her food. Food. Fiadh didn't hesitate at all. She took it and started to eat it rather quickly.- 3518 replies

Fiadh couldn't stop crying. She hated it. She shouldn't have been fine She should have been okay. It was just a scrape right. But no matter how hard she tried she couldn't stop crying. Fiadh looked up at the women who was bandaging her scrapes, "It just hurts." She inwardly winced, she sounded so vulnerable. But she couldn't help it anymore. Everything except for getting that bracelet that was in her pocket had gone wrong today. She was going to be a one of the other ports but she had gotten distracted by all the stuff her and now she was accepting help from strangers. What had happened to her? Why was she being so weak today?- 3518 replies

Fiadh looked up, "Well if you have any bandages that would be helpful but otherwise I'll be fine." Fiadh felt so vulnerable now that this girl had noticed. It didn't help the wound scrape thing hurt and was apparently bleeding and she was so hungry. Suddenly before the girl could respond to Fiadh's first comment, Fiadh burst into tears.- 3518 replies

Fiadh slipped through the crowd. As she moved closer she saw a bracelet flash on someone in front her flash. She sped up and slipped the bracelet off the person's wrist as she slipped past them. Maybe she didn't need to steal from that guy. But she was so hungry and the more she stole the more she could eat. As she slid closer she realized that the pain from one of her scrapes had grown. Fiadh ignored the pain but reached down to touch the scrape instinctively. It was wet. She looked at her hand. Blood. Dang it. I should do something about that.- 3518 replies

Fiadh watched the people pass by below. She still wasn't quite sure how she had ended up on top of the flag pole but it had a great view. She was looking for her next target. That sky skinned guy looked like he might be a good target. A lot of people had come up and talked to him in the short amount of time she'd been watching. And despite his best efforts he was definitely wealthy in some way. Fiadh slid down the pole gaining a couple scrapes. Ow... No no pin the pain. You can fix that later. Right now you have work to do if you want to eat tonight. She headed toward the guy. If he didn't have anything she could take, hopefully someone nearby would.- 3518 replies

Insa rushes in and gets right to work. She bends and forges metal to make a box. As soon as the box part is done she works on a little lock for it. And then a key. After that come all the little details and assembly. When she's done she asks back out of the room with a midnight blue box. The edges are trimmed with white gold and there are little white gold dots that look a bit like stars. The lock and key are also white gold and look like a moon. But what Insa is proudest of its the birds eye view of a crow and a raven flying together on the top of the box. Insa holds it out for Haly to see, "Think they'll like it?"
