    Par struggled, squawking, but decided against turning back so he could stay with the girl.

    Par indignantly slapped the guard on the leg, standing between her and him.

    Par continued until he reached the girl, then tentatively held out a wing.

    "Uh... okay." In a puff of air, Par became a small penguin. He waddled over to Shana.

    "Did you say you need me to... become a penguin? Why?"

    "I think I have a concussion."

    He did not respond.

    "I can't go invisible..." He wandered around a bit, looking at all the different foods. "You go ahead. I don't feel very hungry."

    "Okay." He gave her one more quick kiss, shaking slightly, though whether it was from nervousness or excitement was hard to tell. "Where to?"

    Par did not respond, and his head was bleeding from where he had caught an edge on his fall.

    Eventually, TAAron released her, breathing much more quickly than normal. "Uh, do you want to stop and get the food now, or...?"

    Upon catching sight of the blood, Par paled and rapidly fainted again.

    "Woah!" Par followed after her, dexterously navigating the room.

    His eyes closed, and his posture relaxed as he kissed her, holding her tight.

    "Well, that's disconcerting."

    Par quickly went over to her. "Try the door?"

    "Okay." He pulled her into him and kissed her.

    "...Oh. Is there anything I could do now? That doesn't involve magical tampering with emotions?"
