  1. There was a final powerful jolt, and the distortion stopped. Erin was gone.
  2. The glow and painful warmth faded, but the spacial distortion did not. It grew more intense, disorienting and a bit frightening. Erin held on to Mike tightly, and they were like a raft staying afloat amidst a storm.
  3. Space and time seemed to warp around them, literally. Suddenly Vena, Rallohir, and Xq were far away. The trees and ground bent and doubled in on themselves. Up and down were lost. Everything seemed slowed. Erin kissed him back.
  4. What Ravenclawjedi said is correct. It's not super accurate, though, from what I can tell
  5. Erin froze in shock. Their breath caught.
  6. The panic continued. The glow grew brighter, and her skin became uncomfortably warm to the touch.
  7. Erin began to take panicked, gasping breaths. Vena, at a loss for how to help, stood watching grimly.
  8. "Th-that didn't work last time, did it?" Vena approached the two. "What's happening? Can I help?"
  9. The glow grew brighter, and Erin began to shake in his arms. "Please, please no."
  10. Erin looked down at themself, and went pale. "No... not again." Vena looked concerned. "What's happening?"
  11. "Basically a god who gets involved in conflicts between mortals and immortals." A faint glow appeared beneath Erin's skin, almost impossible to notice.
  12. "Arbiter came down here to make a judgement between Athena and Eddie. He created me, and I ended up... getting left behind."
  13. "Well, I was able to do... the one thing." Erin shrugged. "I'd have to test it out more." Vena shook her head. "Honestly, I'm pretty useless right now."
  14. "I might be able to do something," Erin said. "But I still don't know how much of my magic you left over when you healed me."
  15. Erin smiled at him. "No, not really. I'm sorry." Vena sighed. "We need somewhere to start, some way to get a lead." "What do you know, Xq?"
  16. Vena frowned. "Honestly... I don't know. We don't really have any leads on where they could be. Aster went after them, and we haven't heard back from her yet." Erin leaned into Mike, still rather tired. They were still very confused and uncertain, but they could do with the comfort of his presence.
  17. "I'll be fine. I'd rather not leave you alone, anyway."
  18. "That would be good," Vena said. Erin spoke up again. "I'll come with you all. I can help, probably."
  19. "It's not your fault," Erin said. "I agree with Erin," Vena said with a smile. "They'll be a good influence on you. You tried your best, Mike. It's okay."
  20. "He saved me too," Erin noted, squeezing his hand for a moment. "Wow. Well, it's a good thing you found each other."
  21. "Fast," Vena remarked with a slight smile. "So you're mostly alright now, Mike?"
  22. "They is fine." "Alright, I guess," Vena said. She noted the held hands. "Are you two...?"
