At that point, perhaps the word 'used' loses its meaning. If it just means someone doing something for someone else under any circumstance, it's not a useful distinction.

Are you being used if you give to someone without being asked? If a stranger is kind to me, I am not using them. They are simply being kind.

They do. I would think that people can give to each other selflessly.

I've been in the cramped backseat of a car on and off for over 8 hours, and I will be for at least 2 more.
Worst part is that there's not much RP going on today
Or stuff in general, but that felt relevant. I'm exhausted, and generally not doing the best. Ugh.
