  1. *sudden violent coughing* No, unfortunately. Also sadly no
  2. She swallowed. I hope so. It didn't feel right to ask him, though. -- Gaioh smiled at the pig. "Oh, for me?" He reached down to pick it up.
  3. Gets 80 error messages. Inserts a Z.
  4. "I'd probably just mess everything up," Bat sighed, and petted his birdie. "Narrative structure?" Gaioh frowned. Beosta joined them. Scud. What was she supposed to do? He couldn't die, not after she'd brought him back. That wouldn't be--- No, no, she had to stop jumping to conclusions. He was just a little sick. -- "...Narrators are weird."
  5. I'm Sheniquia now. That's canon.
  6. "I... I don't know." He frowned. "What do you mean?"
  7. .... No, that is not my name

  10. Guys y'all should try and guess my real name if you get it right, I'll DM you (maybe)
  11. Beosta glanced that way, then felt a bolt of panic shoot through her. If something was wrong with him... no. No, that couldn't... She grabbed Shoe's hand and went in that direction. "Oh." Bat frowned. "Like what?" Gaioh held up his palm until he stopped coughing. "I'll be fine," he rasped, both to Bacon and to Tam. "Prolly just a cold or something."
  12. “Yes. Now.” Gaioh waved a hand dismissively, then doubled over coughing again.
  13. “Yes?” Bat asked. Gaioh jumped, as Bacon had apparently appeared from nowhere. “No. No, I’m fine.”
  14. “Y- yes. Just… say hi.” Gaioh straightened just in time. “Hey.”
  15. “Oh. Probably Aunt Saura.” — Gaioh glared at Bat, who flinched and took a step back. Something deep in him was wrong. He could feel that. And… and the beach was so hot— but it shouldn’t have been, right?
  16. “Oh,” she whispered. “Wh- what about my siblings?” I love birds Gaioh started coughing again. Bat rushed over, but there was nothing he could do. The fit lasted longer this time, maybe half a minute.
  17. The things let him, but stayed nearby. She took a deep, shuddering breath and hugged him tighter. “So he just… just died?” — Bat smiled, happy, and moved to the edge of the trees to check that Gaioh was still on the beach. He was.
  18. She shook her head. “I’m… I’m sorry. This is dumb. I- I don’t care about him. I don’t care.” “If you don’t pack my eyes out, we can be friends,” he said, gently touching the bird’s head. “And I’ll protect you.”
  19. Beosta came with him. “Are they malicious? Are they gonna hurt you? What do they look like?” I can’t do this. She started crying as she often did. — Bat was glad the bird did not seem mean.
  20. She swallowed. She hugged him back, heart racing. “What’s wrong? Why did you jump like that?” She paused. “Hacob?” He sighed. “Wow. Thanks. Very comforting.”
  21. Yes like what he said or just the tone She paled. “He… he’s dead?”
  22. They were still there though, and surrounded him. They sent the same impressions as before— pebble, leaf, and bud— but considerably softer. Beosta hurried over and gave him a huge hug. “I frigging missed you. Are you okay? Are you hurt?” — Bat smiled. “Hi,” he said softly.
  23. The things followed. The impressions grew fainter. AUGH YES BAT He hesitantly reached up to touch it.
  24. More impressions. A small pebble in the current, tossed restlessly. A leaf, fallen but not ready. A rose picked before its prime. Gaioh hesitated, then cracked one eye open. Beosta had doubled the size of the sandcastle.
