Is the behind the scene stuff worth it though. Idm finishing mistborn era 1, war breaker and Eltranis but BOM is the 3rd on era 2 and I’ve never heard of sixth of the dusk. And if it isn’t really something that big then I don’t want to read 4 extra books rn.

I’ve read all of the stormlight books and novellas expect RoW, The Final Empire and I’m currently reading Warbreaker. What should I read to ensure I don’t miss anything in RoW. I’ve heard I was also read Mistborn Secret History but that spoilers Mistborn Era 2.

Did Wit tell Jasnah about the Dawnsingers or was it something else?
Munazir replied to Munazir's topic in Stormlight Archive
Yh RoW. Rereading OB I was making sure I didn’t misunderstand it. I thought Wit told Jasnah something other than the recreance -
No spoilers for ROM “Ten orders,” Jasnah said. “All ended in death.”“All but one,” Ivory agreed. “They lived in death instead.”

NO SPOILERS FOR ROM im rereading OB and Kaladin is teaching people how to become Windrunner and the first step they take is swearing the first ideal. Kaladin didnt have swear the first idea before sucking in stormlight so was he the exception or is it different for squires. I’m pretty sure Szeth also did this when becoming a Skybreaker

I realised it bugged out and posted multiple times but I couldn’t find a way to delete it

Thanks. I assumed it was information that was just told to us during Q&A and not actually learned from books
-
NO SPOILERS FOR ROM PLEASE "No, no," Taravangian said. "I have learned this only recently. Yes, it makes sense now. One of the Honorblades has vanished." Szeth blinked, and he focused on Taravangian, as if returning from a distant place. "One of the other seven?" If szeth has 1. Taln has his one. Then shouldn’t there be 8 others not.

The sixteen people who shattered Adonalsium picked up these Shards and became the first vessels. Shards are named after a specific action or ideal, called an intent. When a person holds a Shard, that person is imbued with its power, but also becomes the Shard, being warped by its intent. With a consciousness to direct them, many of the Shards began to Invest their magic and influence in certain planets or peoples. This is something I found online on an article. But where did this information come from. Is it from a book or we the creator tell us or did people piece it together. And if I’m reading the cosmere when should this have been told to me

First time I read it I assumed it was Pattern but on my reread I notice Elhokar becoming a light weaver and we see Hoid take his cryptic at the end of OB. Also in OB we learn that high spren watch potential radiants so I thought it could have been his spren instead of pattern
-
NO SPOILERS FOR ROW PLEASE During Adolin’s duel with the four Shardbearers Syl saw a cryptic. Was that Elhokar‘s or Shallan. From OB we know that Elhokar would have become a Lightweaver so could that have been his spren, watching him.

Am I meant to understand what’s going on hindsight?
Munazir replied to Munazir's topic in Stormlight Archive
I have a horrible knack for accidentally spoiling things for me. For Stormlight 1-4: ( I haven’t even read 4) Moash killing Elkohar ( I was Googling what the bridge four salute looked like and I saw a meme that spoiled this ) Kaladin flying and sprenblades from concept art before I read any of the books Gaz is a light weaver and Rlain is a truth watcher, Kaladin getting shard plate- although these were in passing so I might have misunderstood the spoiler for the final empire kelskiers death -

I’ve read up to oathbringer and now I’m rereading WoR. Am I meant to know what’s going on now? Thaisakar and Restares. I don’t think I’ve heard of them before. Im assuming the one who listens is Taravagian. The creature in Tukur is he one of the heralds and he’s fighting the Emuli. And what does Mraize knows about other species of humans. Is he talking about worldhoppers or is he talking about the people made up of cremings in edgedancer and dawnshard. NO SPOILERS FOR RoW. “We will need to find how much he knows.” Mraize’s voice. “You will bring these pages to Master Thaidakar. We are close, but so—it appears—are Restares’s cronies.” The response came in a rasping voice. Shallan couldn’t make it out. “No, I’m not worried about that one. The old fool sows chaos, but does not reach for the power offered by opportunity. He hides in his insignificant city, listening to its songs, thinking he plays in world events. He has no idea. His is not the position of the hunter. This creature in Tukar, however, is different. I’m not convinced he is human. If he is, he’s certainly not of the local species. . . .”

No spoilers for rhythm of war I’m rereading WoR Kaladin has 1000 men. Are they all body guards?
-
No spoilers for rhythm of war I’m rereading WoR and in a flashback chapter Shallan’s father is talking to a man who does a lot of weird stuff: he tried to put something in her fathers drink he was startled when he saw Shallan for no reason he asked her stuff like have you heard spren talking or do spheres go dun around you

Why does the Stormfather speak to the windrunners
Munazir replied to Munazir's topic in Stormlight Archive
AFAIK? What book is that -
The Stormfather calls Kaladin child of tanavast. And whenever someone becomes a knight radiant he says these words are accepted. Why haven’t we heard anything talking to the other orders. Shouldn’t something say these words are accepted for each of the orders. NO SPOILERS OF RHYTM OF WAR. I haven’t read it yet.

I’m reading the final empire and Vin is running away from an Inquisitor “He’s so strong! Vin thought with horror. He was probably steadying himself by Pulling against the lantern brackets behind. However, the force of his Ironpulls was far more powerful than Kelsier’s had ever been.” I’m confused on how he’s steadying himself

Did Renarin and Adolin (in TWOKs) wear the same uniforms that bridge four wore when they all became bodyguards?
