Soulcasting just always gives you infinite access to Allomancy, which is very nice. Regardless, a Steel Compounding Dustbringer would be a menace in the battlefield. I would imagine using hemalurgy combined with stormlight healing to boost your Allomancy to stupid levels. If you can burn hemalurgic spikes to add the bit of sDNA permanently to your spiritweb, well steel hemalurgy can steal steel allomancy... Infinite speed, infinite mobility (BOM level Pushing), Healing, armor, Division, and Abrasion would stop you from burning to a crisp from going supersonic. Only weakness is no Soulcasting so no infinite Scadrial magic. My second choice would be a Pewter Compounding Elsecaller. I can imagine tapping 100x strength, and being at stupid levels of savantism. The problem with this scenario is limited Stormlight, but if Honorblades before Honor's splintering created surgebinders similar to Fused, no problemo.

What do you guys think happens when you forge two hemalurgic spikes together? Brandon has mentioned that a "tweak" would be required to allomancy to allow Allomantic bronze to detect Feruchemy. A similar effect could be being able to push on non-metallic objects, which has also been mentioned by Brandon. Identity is a big problem with unsealed metalminds, but the forceful nature of Hemalurgy has always bypassed that kind of problem. Worst case scenario all donors are filling aluminum. Could you create artificial resonances this way? Thoughts? Edit: Can a Gold Ferring spike their allomancy out, keep healing it, combine the spikes, and then spike it back in to get superpowered allomancy?.

I think the oathgates might've required a Bondsmith. In a similar way Dalinar empowers the Lightweaver surges. Maybe a three-way resonance: Willshaper, Elsecaller, Bondsmith? Bondsmith Connects the two Oathgates. Willshaper uses empowered Spiritual Cohesion to create a path through the Spiritual Realm. Elsecaller uses transformation to transform spren into Oathgate spren. Dalinar can "grab" the Spiritual realm. Remember that Jasnah's transformation surge is empowered around Honor's perpendicularity, I think Cohesion would be strongly affected as well.

Perception is a big problem with this theory then. After seeing the other comments, I see how this probably wouldn't work, although I'm sure there are other ways of powering Feruchemy with Stormlight.

If Stormlight can heal your spiritual aspect, which you store parts of when you fill a metalmind, could you continuously fill strength while healing the missing strength? different from compounding as you're not always tapping, but allows you to replenish your stores very fast. This assumes that feruchemy makes a part of your sDNA disappear temporarily in a similar way to Hemalurgy.

Can a Bondsmith Connect themselves to another person and manipulate their attributes through Feruchemy? Bondsmiths can trick the body into thinking objects are part of it (I think Ishar was the one who did this to drain stormlight). Could a Bondsmith then make himself nearly weightless by also storing the weight of their clothes? What about remotely accessing metalminds? Could a duralumin ferring do this as well? Could this extend to Allomancy (copper clouds from another source, pewter to strengthen outside objects, Steelpushing and Ironpulling from a different direction)?? Could this work on other people if both of you are storing Identity?? Could you store their Identity, and make medallions without consent??

Investiture mimics life, and Cognitive Shadows are Investiture mimicking the person they used to inhabit. Feruchemy is moving around the investiture of your Spiritual self and affecting your Physical self as a result. Evidence: A person filling a nicrosil metalmind is experiencing a loss of kinetic investiture and is undetectable by an Awakener. Forgery would work very similarly mechanically, as it also changes your physical self through manipulating your sDNA. Edit: Could a Cognitive Shadow be stored in a nicrosilmind? What would happen to someone who tapped an unkeyed Cognitive Shadow??

Is it within the realm of reason for a feruchemist to, for example, concentrate their Goldmind health to a specific part of their body? Or maybe make one part of their body lighter and another heavier, without storing the attribute, just redirecting it?
