Parents out here dropping the craziest lore on a random Thursday college vist

"Oh yes Argenti, you know we almost lived in the Netherlands? Yes while I was pregnant with you, we decided to move, but waited until your were Born (there's a whole story behind that). We had movers, your dad had a job, and we looked at a house!"

"Huh?"

"Then your father decided against it last minute and we lost everything in the housing crash of 09'"

"Huh????"

  I'm... semi-Dutch.
  
  Both sets of grandparents moved here from Holland. Dad was 3. Mum's dad (my Opa) was around 5 (I think).
  
  So I grew up with a semblance of Dutch tradition. I learned the odd word of Dutch, and tasted Dutch treats. I like to think that I'm part Dutch, but maybe a whole bunch of people will say I'm wrong.
