  1. I feel like I should've expected this since Kayla loves Revali, but the fact that she replaced a player and that player had Yiga Revali has me in stitches. I honestly read her as village, or at least a vanilla role, but it looks like I was wrong. I guess when you know someone outside of the Sanderson Elimination games it can be hard to hide any bias from previous experience. I'll have to be more open-minded. Also interesting that Yiga Postman Drake opened a random PM with Szeth and Tani, two Hyrulean vanillas. I assume that was likely to keep the village confused and paranoid. Which, it honestly made me feel very worried and unsure. Right? It's honestly giving me more hope that Archer and Dannex (village Sheikah) had contact with whoever Link is at one point and dropped some useful information to them. I wouldn't put it past Dannex to do that, they were on the ball since they found out who Master Kohga was. The thing with Szeth did catch me off guard. I assumed the PM between Tani and Szeth was either an e/v, seeing as a Yiga Postman opened it up. I guess it isn't far-fetched to say that Drake messed with us. I read way too much into his votes and stuff. Although, that being said...the Yiga know who the Yiga are, why would they kill Szeth whenever Szeth could've been an easy target from the village after we mis-exe'd Tani and discovered they were village? I had a predication that Szeth would be another target of the bandwagon voting trains at some point because of this. I think another player mentioned this last cycle (Ash, iirc) and I have to agree with them. We've been immediately aiming our votes at someone without much thought. Perhaps before voting a person, we mention why we're suspicious of them and provide that evidence? I know that's hard to do when the numbers are getting smaller and smaller, especially with players who are talkers and quiet. Even if you're a quiet player you could have reads and it would be useful at this point. Although, just as you said Quill, I too had Kayla pinned as a vanilla role. I was very surprised to see that she was Yiga Revali, but after Link hit the ball out of the park and killed off an important elim role it's a huge relief. It's a good turn of events! Reminder about Daruk's ability for those who don't remember: Daruk: With the power of Daruk’s Protection, Daruk can protect himself from anything that could hurt him. Daruk has a passive life that protects him from the first kill or removal done against him. If the elim is Daruk, that does mean that Daruk is able to defend himself against one kill or removal. I believe you said we should stop taking potshots last cycle on voting, and I agree, especially if Daruk hasn't used this ability yet and is waiting, which seems likely seeing as Link just removed two Yiga and seems to be on the right path. Link please keep remaining under cover and keep up the good work. After I had Kayla reading as a vanilla village role, I'm not sure how trusty or accurate my reads are on people. Perhaps looking back on earlier interactions with those we know who were Elim's could help? I'd really like to see what an experienced SE player would think on those interactions. Although, when I do have a chance to look back earlier on interactions I might be a little more cautious about reading Drake's interactions, seeing as I was worried the entire time about the PM. :/
  2. I think tomorrow we should all discuss more before we just immediately vote someone. It's not worth the risk if we don't have reasonable suspicion. Az was a Vanilla Village role, but still valuable to the Village. I have to agree with you on this. If Urbosa is here and village, she should stick to whatever plan she has but it seems that whatever happened last night was good for the village so perhaps doing the same action is useful? Although that's their decision entirely, seeing at the elim's might not go for the same people every night. I'm thinking that the Elim's might have a Revali. I don't know what to think of for Daruk.
  3. I'm not entirely sure who I will be voting for. I'm really stuck back on that PM between Tani and Szeth that was set up by Drake. Tani was an vanilla Hyrulean. Does anyone have any additional thoughts about this since that cycle? It could've been a e/v, or v/v. But why would Drake set up a PM with an v/v when they were a Yiga Postman. However, Szeth is on vacation at the moment and I feel like it's a terrible idea to put them on the spot until they get back and can give us more information.
  4. That sounds like good news and it makes me so happy honestly. With this in mind, has anyone else been in a PM recently? I advise whoever Link is to not role claim whatsoever. Two v!Sheikah are gone and I highly doubt there is another one, at least not a village Sheikah.
  5. This sucks...and it just makes me wonder if Tani and Szeth were v/v or v/e now. "Link: With the power of the Triforce of Courage at his disposal, Link can use the Master Sword to kill one player per night turn. If Link kills a Hyrulean he will not be able to use his kill for one cycle." The good news is that Link has his action left, as far as we're aware. Godspeed to whomever holds the Master Sword. I don't know if there's any useful information available unless someone had contact with Archer and Dannex before they were removed. I hope you have a fun trip, Szeth! Thanks for letting us know. If there's anything you can comment before you go that could be useful to us, let us know! Especially since you were in a PM with Tani. Otherwise, see you after you return. Have a fun, safe trip!
  6. At this point we're on thin ice. A lot of Hyrulean's have been lost and Link is somewhere out there with likely no cover or protection unless Beedle / Kas gave them something.
  7. I'm honestly super conflicted about it. It seems like Tani started the roleclaiming first (unless I missed something) and at one point voted for themselves. As did Drake. (that was N3.) There's a few times I've noticed that Drake and Araris targeted people, who were Szeth and Ashbringer. I'm leaning Tani as more elim than village. For Szeth I'm more conflicted about it, so 50/50 honestly. :/
  8. If there's still a Postman out there I'd like to request a PM with Devotary. I may have missed it or forgotten, but which one of you requested the PM? Or was it Drake that set it up randomly.
  9. Dang it. I know that Archer apparently had nothing of importance to share with us (at least in a way that was safe), but it still sucks to lose another Hyrulean Sheikah! I hope they were in contact with someone that they could trust in a PM. I'm glad Random Bystander was just a vanilla role, that's some relief. Now that we know Dannex and Archer were both Hyrulean Sheikah it gives me hope that there's still another Hyrulean Knight out there! Pyro was killed off from a vote count on N1 and was a Hyrulean Knight. Those who voted for Pyro were Kas, Illwei, Szeth, and Stick. Of course Kas was confirmed Hyrulean Beedle, Illwei as Kohga, and Stick as Hyrulean so that's just something that I think was more of an RNG since I don't have a read on Szeth really... I'd also like to have confirmation of this again... We know that Tani and Szeth had connection of a PM and that Drake was the one who opened it, as Tani has confirmed to us last. There's still a chance that it's e/e just to mess with us, or that it was a v/e setup to get valuable information for the Yiga. I think we should consider who Drake has voted for in the past few games. Of course it could just be a random vote since a lot of those votes were basically determined when it was compared to 10 over 2 votes. (Example: when Tani and Drake voted for Tani.) I have some read-over notes I made and I'll share those if anyone's interested, but it's likely to sound more like a dumb detective who's trying to make sense of nothingness. I'd like to think the information I saved is valuable somehow, at least...but idk. It might clue on to something??? Also would anyone be willing to share their reads on the remaining players and what made them conclude this? I know Attic read the people mentioned in Drake's post. Tani did a lot of role claiming in the beginning for Link and Zelda. There was a PM opened by Drake between Tani and Szeth and I'd like to think it was an e/v, and not an e/e but I'm very worried that it's just another trick to throw us off course. Considering Drake voted both for Tani and Szeth at one point, although the VC wouldn't have mattered since a lot of people were hopping onto certain votes. (sorry forgot to include this in my post)
  10. I think a lot of people are starting to sus Tani and I can see why, and I agree. Drake voted on Tani when Tani voted for themselves. That feels like something that's just been done to tease villagers. Otherwise, why would Link Tani do this to themselves besides misdirect? I'm thinking Szeth is leaning village for me. Tani also retracted their vote and did not want to be apart of it, whereas a Link would likely kept their vote. (I think? I'm probably overthinking this.) Drake also voted for Szeth at one point but that doesn't really mean anything since Drake also pointed out about e!King Rhoam, and the fact that Drake knew they were gonna be gone so it could've been a thing to put us off course? ALSO to answer your question from earlier Attic, here's the vote polls so far: N1 Pyro (4): Kas, illwei, Szeth_Pancakes, Stick Kas (1): Steel TUO (1): TJ Steel (1): Drake Araris (1): Matrim's Dice Archer (1): purple TJ (1): Araris Ash (1): Archer N2 Stick (4): Ashbringer, Steeldancer, purplewhiteandgold, Tani Drake (4): Matrim's Dice, Archer, Devotary, TJ Szeth_Pancakes (2): DrakeMarshall, WhiffleWaffles Ashbringer (1): Araris Valerian Steeldancer (1): Jondesu TJ (1): Stick Tani (1): Alvron N3 TUO (11): Ashbringer, Archer, Dannex, Szeth_Pancakes, Devotary, Random Bystander, WhiffleWaffles, attic_gremlin, YeetAroundABush, purplewhiteandgold, quillinthestars DrakeMarshall (2): Steeldancer, TJ Tani (2): DrakeMarshall, Tani N4 DrakeMarshall (10): Ashbringer, Azmine_king, Archer, Szeth_Pancakes, Steeldancer, Devotary of Spontaneity, Jondesu, attic_gremlin, YeetAroundABush, purplewhiteandgold Szeth_Pancakes (1): DrakeMarshall Honestly this is likely going to either be our last night or we'll somehow make it through to the next day with Link still alive.
  11. So none of you requested a PM or did one of you request a random PM? I don't know if it's of interest or not but when Tani voted for Tani, Drake also hopped onto that wagon train and voted Tani. At that point I think there were like 11 votes for TUO, 2 for Drake, and 2 for Tani. Here's what I had written down for that vote sequence: "TUO (11): Ashbringer, Archer, Dannex, Szeth_Pancakes, Devotary, Random Bystander, WhiffleWaffles, attic_gremlin, YeetAroundABush, purplewhiteandgold, quillinthestars DrakeMarshall (2): Steeldancer, TJ Tani (2): DrakeMarshall, Tani" Would it be a surprise if Drake did an e/e PM? What if that's some sort of plan to throw us off, as Attic and Archer pointed out. I think Drake knew that they would be voted off soon...
  12. I do like that you went thru this and analyzed it, which is nice but I have a feeling it's 100% a troll/last ditch effort to make. He did say it was basically a troll post and that he was offended that people think that he might not be Yiga in white looking back at it. However, it's still good to look at all our options, especially at this point in the game. I do like to keep in mind that interaction that happened with Drake and Tani via the dialogue on D4 and me explaining what it is. If Tani is Elim and Drake was Yiga Postman it could just be a thing but idk why it just felt very off...probably because the dialogue brings me chills. xD I have back and forth vibes on how I feel on this... I feel like there's more to it when there probably isn't. Drake opened that PM with Tani and Szeth. Tani knew Drake opened the PM for them. But what if it's just another way to manipulate? Does anyone have a basic rundown/analysis/summary of the game since D1? My notes are scrambled like...scrambled eggs. xP What are your reads on those mentioned people besides Drake's latch-ditch effort/purposeful funny joke analysis?
  13. I've honestly learned a lot from that confusion. I think my paranoia is getting the best of me at the moment and I'm just scrambling at everything but I totally understand why you brought it up and stuff. Thank you for clearing this up! It makes a lot more sense now. So far we've had PM's for the following: Tani with SzethP: Tani said they know it was made by Drake. Also Tani had just pinged SzethP...so do they know their alignment or what's the deal. YeetAroundABush with TUO: this was on the second day, it could've been a Village Postman who set up the PM or Drake. It was confirmed that TUO was a Hyrulean. (I probably missed a lot of people, sorry.)
  14. From what I understood within the past few days, even killing off an elim doesn't guarantee our chances of a village win. It's all relying on Link's survival. I had the rationale that if Drake were somehow Link, even if it was a tiny chance, that I didn't want to take on the vote to eliminate them. Also, I remembered at one point that I had voted for TJ (iirc) after seeing a lot of people go for them, so I hopped on that bandwagon and what were the results? They were flipping Zelda! ;-; Also, I saw Tani retract their vote and noticed some people didn't vote so I decided to retract my vote and being involved in a worst case scenario (Drake being Link and dying.) I knew that was going to be suspicious but at that point I have lost all hope >:P From what I've gathered since D3/D4 there's likely one elim knight, no village knights left, Zelda is dead, there's a parity (if Link dies we lose), and we lost our 100% confirmed village Dannex. I honestly think it was out of panic too, and that since there were so many votes, he'd be voted off either way... (sorry for the double post it wouldn't let me respond to this quote and then it took 5 minutes for my message to be sent sjdsla) Wait...I don't know if I'm remembering this correctly or not, but why are we asking who Drake opened up PMs with? Did he have access to what was discussed between PMs? OR was it just the GM's and the two correspondents?
  15. I haven't had a PM yet but I agree that whoever the postman is needs to be a secret if there's any chances of protecting Link. There's a lot of big elim's down like the King and Postman now, but there's still Yiga and Zelda (TJ) is dead.
  16. That's a relief, but Zelda (TJ) is still dead and that means whoever Link is needs to be protected at all costs. I doubt there's another Sheikah but if there is they should also remain under cover. I'd say the same for if there's another village Postman but being under cover...really...doesn't work I guess? Idk I'm panicking. There's still a chance, but it's very slim. I think during D4 we were going off the assumption that no village knight is left, and possibly one elim!knight but if there is still a village knight left prioritize whoever you think Link is.
  17. in that case go for it if you want lmao xD We'll find out N4 I guess. >:P
  18. Maybe wait for after-game? :thonk: Thank you! It's honestly one of my favorite Yiga encounters.
  19. It also sucks because a Hyrulean Knight was voted off the first cycle and if they had still been here... >:( there could've been a chance for survival, most likely. I'm going to retract my vote from Drake, btw...which probably won't do anything honestly since 9 have voted for them. My reasoning is because so many have voted for them and if Drake is *somehow* not an elim...idk
  20. So far TJ had voted for TUO, Drake, and Drake. Dannex had voted for TUO. Fear. I'm hopeful that there's more than one village knight, but I'm beginning to doubt it after we've seen the past cycles. So far... TUO - Hyrulean Dannex - Sheikah goodie Matrim's Dice - Hyrulean Mipha Araris - Yiga King Rhoam Kas - Hyrulean Beedle Illwei - Master Kohga Pyro - Hyrulean Knight Stick - Hyrulean
  21. This deals with a disguised Yiga encounter in the Breath of the Wild game when Link strikes up a conversation with him. The nightmare and waking up part he's referencing are basically how Link started his adventure in the game. He woke up in a weird chamber and had no idea where he was. If we had another Sheikah I feel as if they would've come out to us by now, especially considering Dannex came out with good information earlier in the game. I'm honestly beginning to doubt the fact that there's a Sheikah role learner on the village side anymore. Dannex was basically 100% confirmed and at that point the only person I think most of the village, if not all of the village out there, trusted. I don't know what else to do so I think my vote will belong to Drake tonight.
  22. I'm more inclined to believe Dannex after the identification of Illwei as Kohga.
  23. I think I'm going to pull my vote in for TUO for the time being. Everyone seems to be pointing to them and I'm not sure what else to think.
  24. This gave me red alert vibes... Maybe it's the emote or something but idk the one above (Sorry I'm not used to this website I'm still learning the functions it seems xDD)
