I just wanted to point out that when a strong Connection is broken, often something happens w/ the eyes. When the Connection between Nahel Spren and their KsR is broken, the spren appear w/ scratched out eyes. A big part of this is because they no longer have a Connection to BAM. The other one that I saw someone mention is peoples' eyes getting burned out when hit w/ a shard or honorblade. This is the severing of the Connection between their spiritual/cognitive/physical self.
