I honestly think you might be onto something here. Additionally, from SH itself there was a quick but significant moment towards the end where the powers of Ruin and Preservation were dropped and Kelsier considered grabbing both only for Sazed to walk in and scoop them up before him. I'm very curious to see where his character goes in the future and you've added something extra spicy to consider, both for it's cope and believably.
