So, only on chapter 9 of RoW mostly because I was near the end of a full mistborn reread last week and I just wanted to finish it. Reading Navani’s fabrial lecture notes in on chapter 8 and 9 make me very glad all the metal lore from mistborn is fresh in my mind. Back to the Journey!

Ok. Good point. But am I the only one who finds it odd that her comment is the first acknowledgement of it. Even before Wax confirms “on screen” so to speak in BoM? And I’m really just looking for confirmation that I didn’t miss something before that moment. I’m reading closely looking for all the Cosmere stuff and felt like I missed something.

Ok. Again, that’s cool (and I’ll update the Coppermind with references later) but that’s still after Marasi mentions it in SoS. At least I’m not crazy that it wasn’t mentioned before then. How did she know?

Ok. That helps. But that’s after Marasi’s thought to herself in SoS. Is the quote in my original post really the first reference to them being married?

Ok, so I'm re-reading Wax and Wayne, and I feel like I missed something about half-way through. Obviously, I know about Lessie and Wax - but the first reference I recall seeing of them being married is halfway through Shadows of Self when Marasi thinks, "Why else would Bleeder be parading around the city wearing the body of the man who had killed Waxillium's wife?" I checked the Coppermind and it says they were married, but there is no source referenced confirming that. The Lessie article has no sources at all. And the Waxillium article references the Shadows of Self Prologue which covers their meeting, but not getting married (though the connection between them is clearly obvious by the end of the prologue). I did a search of my kindle edition of the trilogy and can find nothing saying they were married (but a Kindle search isn't very flexible). Can someone point me to a passage in either Alloy of Law or Shadows of Self, before Marasi's thought above, indicating they were married?

The most ridiculous - that Moash and Kaladin meet up again and become lovers. (just kidding, This post has been reported for attempting to skirt the rules Moash). Though when they meet up again, if they aren't completely on opposite sides (which they are at the moment), would Kaladin have to protect him according to his Oaths? I have avoided the preview chapters to have a pure experience next week!

Daggon - It may not be a huge thing (or it might) but it's the Vasher/Zahel and Vivenna/Azure thing. Why did Vasher come to Roshar? How did he lose Nightblood/Sword Nimi? Why is Azure hunting him? What will happen when she realized he doesn't have the sword? And what else is all behind that that makes these questions the wrong ones? Oh... and the WoB where he mentions "space age Cosmere"... !?

Thanks for the warm welcome @Scout_Fox. Favorite Cosmere series... definitely Stormlight. But I gotta say, before joining reddit I didn't get the full picture of the Cosmere... so after rereading all of Stormlight... and I just finished rereading Mistborn Era 1 and am reading Era 2... picking up on all the Cosmere references is awesome. I would NEVER have picked up any of that on the first read throughs. Even though I read Warbreaker before Oathbringer, I missed a lot of the connections there (not Sword-nimi - that one was easy) - but after my reread over the summer the connections there are so fun. And having just finished Alloy of Law - I clearly need to go read White Sand (which I haven't done yet). I'm going to need to take a week off to read RoW, and re-read everything else I haven't re-read in the past 6 months (my wife is gonna kill me)!

Been lurking in the various subreddits for a while, just started digging into the coppermind (cheated and used the coppermind Stormlight Summaries before RoW - I had just re-read everything over the summer, but wanted a fresher refresh :). Someone mentioned the 17th shard on Reddit and I don't know how I didn't know about this site. Also - just finished Dawnshard after getting it as a backer for the WoR leatherbound. Eagerly awaiting RoW...
