I really liked these flashbacks. Although, these were probably the weakest flashbacks so far - in terms of pacing, gripping the readers, etc, it probably was also the most relevant flashbacks for the story as a whole. Previous flashbacks focused on individual character development (not saying that I didn't enjoy those), but RoW's flashbacks showed how Venli almost single handedly caused the war, brought her people to near extinction, how Nale played a significant part in that, how "The Return/Desolation" was an orchestrated thing and not something that accidentally happened due to a chance conversation between Gavilar and Eshonai.

Loved the video. I'm super impressed with The Overlady's reading speed. After Part 1, I felt that "Vin and Elend's appearance" in the Secret History was pretty misleading, and knew that the Overlady would be disappointed. I agree with her take on the "Misting breeding factory" and it not being brought up in Book 2+ 100%. But both of them got a few things wrong: Wayne (who is easily my favorite in Era 2) is around 30-31... not in his late 30s, which would have made his interactions with Marasi a bit too creepy and inappropriate. And, Wax is a descendant of Breeze, not Spook.
