Gratz on beating the game

I finished Endwalker's MSQ a couple hours ago. Wrote an indepth post on it on another forum. I give it a 5/10. Rushed, convoluted story that flip flopped on what it wanted to be, was awkwardly paced, and botched the payoff. The story was also very cynical (despite the repetitive speeches and empty platitudes about hope and such). I found the rolequests to be much more enjoyable. I will check out the next expansion, but if the future of FFXIV's storytelling is going to be more Kingdom Hearts sob stories from Ishikawa, I'm out.

Really? I think at first glance the ending to CS3 is quite good.

Step Ahead and Fateful Confrontation are pretty good. I quite like the heroic boss battle themes: Great Awe from SC, Eliminate Crisis from CS1, and Abrupt Visitor from CS3

Are there any songs in English besides Aria of the Holy Saint? Maybe in the Ys series?

Someone subtitled the Kuro trailer. Also, new character info, this time on the villains. This might be the last new info on Kuro before it releases next month.

You have until you start the final mission to do them. You will be explicitly told "hey, make sure you do everything you want to do before we go do the final mission" so you're not going to be surprised.

Jumping into CS3 without having played CS1 and CS2 is like jumping into Zeta Gundam without having seen the first Gundam show. You could somewhat follow along, but the story assumes you are already invested in the characters and know what the politics are.
